| Andreas Kidess:
Born and raised in Germany. After graduating high school he moved to New York where he worked as a community organizer in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. In his spare time he worked in the art department at "Details" Magazine.
Two years later he returned to Germany and studied at the Ruhr University Bochum (RUB) where he received a MA (Magister Artium) in Film & Television Science. During his studies he already began to direct commercials and music videos, which he continues to this day.
In 1997 Andreas returned to the United States and enrolled at the American Film Institute (AFI) in Los Angeles, where he received a MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in Directing. At the AFI he directed several short films, including his thesis film “My
Brother”, which screened at the 2000 Sundance Film Festival.
After graduating from the AFI Andreas continued to direct commercials and music videos.
His short film “Meet The President” received 2002 MVPA Director's Cut Award and was screened at several film festivals throughout the US including the MVPA’s Directors Cut and the Coachella Festival. He also received two "2003 Telly Awards" for his "Dateline.com" campaign.
