Born in Reykjavik, Iceland. After finishing college in Iceland with a degree in sociology, he moved to Los Angeles to attend the American College in 1990 where he studied Interior Architecture. He then started working as a production designer and worked for several famous directors in Los Angeles. After production-designing for several years, for hundreds of commercials and for more than 15 features, he moved on to directing. In his free time, he wrote imaginative spots, and thought up ways to make them fresh and unique. He recently completed a short film titled "Consumption." Currently resides in Los Angeles and in Iceland.
